Finally….
A politician who is not afraid to say what he believes. Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback publicly stated that he agrees with General Pace that homosexual acts are immoral.
“I do not believe being a homosexual is immoral, but I do believe homosexual acts are. I’m a Catholic and the church has clear teachings on this.”
While other candidates tried to sidestep the issue, Sen. Brownback was straight forward and bravely took a stand. Brownback went on to call the criticism of General Pace
“both unfair and unfortunate.” “We should not expect someone as qualified, accomplished and articulate as General Pace to lack personal views on important moral issues”
Now I have two reasons to be thankful that I am a Kansan today; Senator Brownback and the Jayhawks. Rock Chalk!
