Did Ford back down to the pressure from gay activists?
Ford representatives met with leaders of several gay rights activist groups on December 12th and immediately issued a letter stating backing away from an earlier agreement with the American Family Association. While not agreeing to force Jaguar and Land Rover to advertise in gay publications, the company did agree to run corporate advertising in these publications that would include all Ford brands.
